  • What kind of support is included?

    All plans include email support and access to our knowledge base. Pro and Enterprise plans include priority support with faster response times and dedicated onboarding assistance.

  • Do you offer onboarding or training?

    We offer guided onboarding for teams of all sizes. Enterprise customers receive dedicated training sessions, data migration assistance, and a named account manager.

  • How quickly will I hear back?

    We aim to respond to all inquiries within one business day. Support tickets are typically addressed within a few hours during business hours (Mon–Fri, 9 AM – 6 PM EST).

  • How do I add leads and contacts?

    Add leads and contacts manually through the CRM interface. Enter inquiry details, contact information, and notes as you capture new opportunities.

  • What stages can I track opportunities through?

    Opportunities move through stages like Prospect, Qualification, Proposal, Negotiation, and Closed Won or Lost. This helps you see where each deal stands at a glance.

  • Does the CRM connect to project management?

    Yes. Both live in the same platform, so you are not switching between disconnected tools. Lead-to-project conversion is on our roadmap to make handoff even smoother.

  • Can multiple team members manage leads?

    Yes. Assign leads to specific team members and share notes. Everyone on your team sees the same leads and opportunities.

  • Is there a mobile view for the CRM?

    Yes. Access your leads, contacts, and opportunities from any mobile browser. Add notes and update deal stages from the job site or on the road.

Project Management

  • Can I create a project schedule from a template?

    Yes. Pronestia ships with construction-specific templates covering common build types. You can also save any project as your own template to reuse across future builds — your best schedule becomes the baseline for every project.

  • How do subcontractors access their tasks?

    Subcontractors get a focused view showing only the tasks assigned to them. They can mark tasks complete, add notes, and attach job site photos directly from their phone — no app installation required.

  • Does Pronestia handle task dependencies?

    Yes. Link tasks and phases so that if Phase 2 depends on Phase 1 finishing, a delay in Phase 1 automatically surfaces as risk downstream. You'll see it before it costs you time or money.

  • Can I track budget alongside the schedule?

    Each project phase can be linked to a budget line item. As phases progress, you can see cost-versus-completion side by side — no spreadsheet juggling required.

  • What does the client see?

    Clients access a clean progress portal showing overall completion, current phase, recent updates, and items pending their approval. They see exactly what you choose to share — nothing more, nothing less.

Client Portal

  • Do my clients need to download an app?

    No. Clients access their project portal through any web browser on any device — phone, tablet, or desktop. No app download, no account setup friction. They click a link and they're in.

  • How much can clients actually see?

    You control exactly what each client sees. You choose which phases, documents, and discussions are visible to them. Sensitive internal notes, subcontractor costs, and team communications stay private by default.

  • Can clients message me directly through the portal?

    Yes. Clients can start and reply to threaded discussions from their portal. All messages are tied to the relevant task or phase — so context is never lost — and your team gets notified instantly.

  • What happens when a client approves a change order?

    The approval is timestamped, logged, and attached permanently to the project record. Both parties receive a confirmation. The approved scope is reflected immediately in the project and can trigger a budget update.

  • Can I use the portal for multiple clients on multiple projects?

    Yes. Each project has its own client portal. You manage all of them from one dashboard. Clients only ever see their own project — never anyone else's.

AI Design Studio

  • Can clients make selections from their phone?

    Yes. The AI Design Studio is fully responsive. Clients can browse boards, view details, and approve selections from any device with a browser.

  • Can I show pricing differences between options?

    Yes. You can set a base price and show upgrade costs on each option. Clients see the budget impact before they approve, reducing surprises at final billing.

  • Can clients change their selections after approving?

    You control whether changes are allowed and until when. If a client needs to change a selection, the change is logged with a new timestamp alongside the original approval.

  • Can I create template boards for common selections?

    Yes. Save selection boards as templates and apply them to new projects. This is especially useful for production builders with standard finish packages.

  • How do I share the gallery with clients?

    Clients access the AI Design Studio through their existing client portal login. You control which boards are visible and when they are ready for review.

Documents & Files

  • What file types can I upload?

    Pronestia supports all common construction file types including PDFs, images (JPG, PNG), Office documents (Word, Excel), CAD files (.dwg, .dxf), and more.

  • Is there a file size limit?

    File size and storage limits vary by plan. Check our pricing page for current plan details and storage allocations.

  • Can I set up folder templates for new projects?

    Yes. Create a standard folder structure once and apply it to every new project instantly. This ensures consistency across your organization and eliminates setup time.

  • How does version control work?

    When you upload a new version of an existing document, Pronestia automatically tracks it as a revision. Previous versions are preserved and accessible from the version history panel. Nothing is ever overwritten or lost.

  • Can subcontractors upload documents?

    Yes. You can grant upload permissions to subcontractors for specific folders. They submit their submittals, photos, and documents directly into the right place without needing to send email.

Digital Signatures

  • Are Pronestia e-signatures legally binding?

    Yes. Pronestia e-signatures comply with the ESIGN Act and UETA standards in the United States. Each signature includes a timestamped audit trail for verification.

  • Do signers need a Pronestia account?

    No. Signers receive a secure email link and can review and sign from any web browser without creating an account or installing software.

  • Can I set a signing order for multiple parties?

    Yes. Define sequential or parallel signing workflows. For example, require the project manager to sign first, then the client, then the subcontractor.

  • How are signed documents stored?

    Completed documents are automatically saved to the project document library with a certificate of completion. Accessible from the document management area at any time.

  • Can I create reusable templates?

    Yes. Save any document as a template with pre-placed signature fields. Especially useful for change orders, lien waivers, and approval forms you send repeatedly.

Discussions & Communication

  • Can clients participate in discussions?

    Yes. You control which discussions are visible to clients through the portal. Clients can participate in conversations you share — their messages are clearly labeled.

  • Is there a limit on discussion history?

    No. All discussions are stored permanently for the life of the project. You can search and reference conversations from any point in the project timeline.

  • Who can see discussions?

    Team members with project access can see internal discussions. Client visibility is controlled separately through portal settings.

  • Can I search across all projects?

    Yes. Search functions across all your projects. Filter by project, date, or participant to narrow results quickly.

Warranty & Closeout

  • Can clients submit warranty requests without a Pronestia account?

    Clients use the same portal login they had during construction. If they no longer have access, you can send them a new invite link in seconds.

  • Can subcontractors update warranty items directly?

    Yes. You can invite subcontractors to Pronestia with limited access. They see only their assigned warranty items and can update status, add notes, and attach completion photos.

  • How do warranty periods work?

    You define warranty periods at the project level — typically 1 year for workmanship and vary by trade/equipment. Pronestia tracks expiration dates and can alert you as periods approach their end.

  • Can I use this for punch list items before closeout?

    Yes. The same issue tracking system works for punch lists during the project and warranty items after handover. Many teams use it for both.

  • What reports can I run on warranty data?

    View reports on issue volume, resolution time, issues by category, issues by trade, and trends over time. Export data to CSV for further analysis.
